About The Chef
Meet Trish Mcilroy
Chef Mcilroy is a classically trained culinary chef and has been a private chef for 10 years. She started her career in Indianapolis where she went to culinary school and received a scholarship to finish her schooling with a trip to France. She started working for high-end private clients after a chance meeting with a well-known CEO and philanthropist in the area. She has cooked for governors, senators, ambassadors, CEO's, business professionals, professional athletes, and more. She even had the opportunity to cook lunch for The Most Reverend Desmond Tutu while he visited the Indianapolis area, in which he grabbed her face and said, "You are a blessed chef!"
Chef McIlroy has been featured in Indianapolis Woman magazine and received the Edmund Gass Culinary Excellence Award in 2009 for her work as a private chef in the Indianapolis area.
She loves working for clients and meeting their culinary needs. In addition to her culinary training, she is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition® where she received training on healthy lifestyle eating and over 100 food theories such as paleo, gluten-free, low-glycemic, low-sugar, etc.
She is excited to be serving the Southwest Florida area and looking forward to the new and exciting opportunities the area will bring! And most of all, she's excited to meet you and help you enjoy your time in Florida!
